tato devarṣayaḥ sarve siddhāś ca paramarṣayaḥ । jagmus tadā parāmārtiṃ dṛṣṭvā tat kadanaṃ mahat ॥1-203-1॥

तेऽभिजग्मुर्जितक्रोधा जितात्मानो जितेन्द्रियाः । पितामहस्य भवनं जगतः कृपया तदा ॥१-२०३-२॥
te'bhijagmur jitakrodhā jitātmāno jitendriyāḥ । pitāmahasya bhavanaṃ jagataḥ kṛpayā tadā ॥1-203-2॥

वैखानसा वालखिल्या वानप्रस्था मरीचिपाः । अजाश्चैवाविमूढाश्च तेजोगर्भास्तपस्विनः ॥१-२०३-५॥
vaikhānasā vālakhilyā vānaprasthā marīcipāḥ । ajāścaivāvimūḍhāśca tejogarbhāstapasvinaḥ ॥1-203-5॥

The Vaikhānasa, Vālakilya, forest-dwelling, Marīcipa, and Aja sages, as well as the undeluded and those whose essence is brilliance, all these are ascetics.
ऋषयः सर्व एवैते पितामहमुपासते ॥१-२०३-५॥

tato'bhigamya sahitāḥ sarva eva maharṣayaḥ । sundopasundayoḥ karma sarvameva śaśaṃsire ॥1-203-6॥

यथाकृतं यथा चैव कृतं येन क्रमेण च । न्यवेदयंस्ततः सर्वमखिलेन पितामहे ॥१-२०३-७॥

tayor vadhaṃ samuddiśya viśvakarmāṇam āhvayat । dṛṣṭvā ca viśvakarmāṇam vyādideśa pitāmahaḥ ॥ sṛjyatāṃ prārthanīy eha pramadeti mahātapāḥ ॥1-203-10॥

(Having aimed at the killing of those two, he summoned Viśvakarman. And having seen Viśvakarman, the grandsire ordered: "Let a woman, worthy of being desired, be created here," thus (said) the great ascetic.)
With the intention of killing those two, he summoned Viśvakarman. Upon seeing Viśvakarman, the grandsire (Brahmā) commanded: "Let a desirable woman be created here," said the great ascetic.
पितामहं नमस्कृत्य तद्वाक्यमभिनन्द्य च । निर्ममे योषितं दिव्यां चिन्तयित्वा प्रयत्नतः ॥१-२०३-११॥
pitāmahaṃ namaskṛtya tadvākyam abhinandya ca । nirmame yoṣitaṃ divyāṃ cintayitvā prayatnataḥ ॥1-203-11॥

(Having bowed to the grandsire, having approved that speech and, having considered with effort, he created a divine woman.)
After bowing to the grandsire and approving his words, he thoughtfully and diligently created a divine woman.
त्रिषु लोकेषु यत्किञ्चिद्भूतं स्थावरजङ्गमम् । समानयद्दर्शनीयं तत्तद्यत्नात्ततस्ततः ॥१-२०३-१२॥
triṣu lokeṣu yatkiñcidbhūtaṃ sthāvarajaṅgamam । samānayaddarśanīyaṃ tattadyatnāttatastataḥ ॥1-203-12॥

koṭiśaś cāpi ratnāni tasyā gātre nyaveśayat । tāṃ ratnasaṅghātamayīm asṛjad devarūpiṇīm ॥1-203-13॥

सा प्रयत्नेन महता निर्मिता विश्वकर्मणा । त्रिषु लोकेषु नारीणां रूपेणाप्रतिमाभवत् ॥१-२०३-१४॥

(She, created by the great Viśvakarman with effort, became unrivaled in form among women in the three worlds.)

न तस्याः सूक्ष्ममप्यस्ति यद्गात्रे रूपसम्पदा । न युक्तं यत्र वा दृष्टिर्न सज्जति निरीक्षताम् ॥१-२०३-१५॥
na tasyāḥ sūkṣmam api asti yad gātre rūpasampadā । na yuktaṃ yatra vā dṛṣṭir na sajjati nirīkṣatām ॥1-203-15॥

(There is not even the subtlest thing in her body, by the wealth of beauty, which is not proper, or where the sight of observers does not attach.)
In her body, endowed with the wealth of beauty, there is not even the slightest thing that is not proper, nor is there any part where the gaze of onlookers does not linger.
सा विग्रहवतीव श्रीः कान्तरूपा वपुष्मती । जहार सर्वभूतानां चक्षूंषि च मनांसि च ॥१-२०३-१६॥
sā vigrahavatīva śrīḥ kāntarūpā vapuṣmatī । jahāra sarvabhūtānāṃ cakṣūṃṣi ca manāṃsi ca ॥1-203-16॥
[सा (sā) - she; विग्रहवती (vigrahavatī) - embodied; इव (iva) - as if; श्रीः (śrīḥ) - splendor; कान्त (kānta) - lovely; रूपा (rūpā) - form; वपुष्मती (vapuṣmatī) - possessing a body; जहार (jahāra) - took away; सर्वभूतानां (sarvabhūtānāṃ) - of all beings; चक्षूंषि (cakṣūṃṣi) - eyes; च (ca) - and; मनांसि (manāṃsi) - minds; च (ca) - and;]
(She, as if embodied splendor, lovely in form, possessing a body, took away the eyes and minds of all beings.)
She, appearing as if the very embodiment of splendor, beautiful in form and possessing a radiant body, captivated the eyes and minds of all beings.
तिलं तिलं समानीय रत्नानां यद्विनिर्मिता । तिलोत्तमेत्यतस्तस्या नाम चक्रे पितामहः ॥१-२०३-१७॥
tilaṃ tilaṃ samānīya ratnānāṃ yadvinirmitā । tilottametyatastasyā nāma cakre pitāmahaḥ ॥1-203-17॥

O Tilottamā, go to the two asuras, Sundā and Upasundā, and with your desirable form, O auspicious one, create temptation for them.
त्वत्कृते दर्शनादेव रूपसम्पत्कृतेन वै । विरोधः स्याद्यथा ताभ्यामन्योन्येन तथा कुरु ॥१-२०३-१९॥
tvatkṛte darśanādeva rūpasampatkṛtena vai । virodhaḥ syādyathā tābhyāmanyonyena tathā kuru ॥1-203-19॥
[त्वत्कृते (tvat-kṛte) - for your sake; दर्शनात् (darśanāt) - from seeing; एव (eva) - indeed; रूपसम्पत्कृतेन (rūpa-sampat-kṛtena) - by the one endowed with beauty; वै (vai) - indeed; विरोधः (virodhaḥ) - conflict; स्यात् (syāt) - may arise; यथा (yathā) - just as; ताभ्याम् (tābhyām) - between those two; अन्योन्येन (anyonyena) - with each other; तथा (tathā) - so; कुरु (kuru) - do;]
(For your sake, indeed, from seeing, by the one endowed with beauty, indeed, conflict may arise; just as between those two with each other, so do.)

प्राङ्मुखो भगवानास्ते दक्षिणेन महेश्वरः । देवाश्चैवोत्तरेणासन्सर्वतस्त्वृषयोऽभवन् ॥१-२०३-२१॥

एवं चतुर्मुखः स्थाणुर्महादेवोऽभवत्पुरा । तथा सहस्रनेत्रश्च बभूव बलसूदनः ॥१-२०३-२६॥
evaṃ caturmukhaḥ sthāṇurmahādevo'bhavatpurā । tathā sahasranetraśca babhūva balasūdanaḥ ॥1-203-26॥

तथा देवनिकायानामृषीणां चैव सर्वशः । मुखान्यभिप्रवर्तन्ते येन याति तिलोत्तमा ॥१-२०३-२७॥
tathā devanīkāyānām ṛṣīṇāṃ caiva sarvaśaḥ । mukhāny abhipravartante yena yāti tilottamā ॥1-203-27॥
[तथा (tathā) - in that manner; देवनिकायानाम् (devanikāyānām) - of the groups of gods; ऋषीणाम् (ṛṣīṇām) - of the sages; च (ca) - and; एव (eva) - indeed; सर्वशः (sarvaśaḥ) - in every way; मुखानि (mukhāni) - mouths; अभिप्रवर्तन्ते (abhipravartante) - move towards; येन (yena) - by whom; याति (yāti) - goes; तिलोत्तमा (tilottamā) - Tilottama (name of the celestial nymph);]
(In that manner, from the groups of gods and sages indeed in every way, mouths move towards (her), by whom Tilottama goes.)
In this way, wherever Tilottama goes, the mouths of all the gods and sages turn towards her.
तस्या गात्रे निपतिता तेषां दृष्टिर्महात्मनाम् । सर्वेषामेव भूयिष्ठमृते देवं पितामहम् ॥१-२०३-२८॥
tasyā gātre nipatitā teṣāṃ dṛṣṭirmahātmanām । sarveṣāmeva bhūyiṣṭhamṛte devaṃ pitāmaham ॥1-203-28॥

तिलोत्तमायां तु तदा गतायां लोकभावनः । सर्वान्विसर्जयामास देवानृषिगणांश्च तान् ॥१-२०३-३०॥
tilottamāyāṃ tu tadā gatāyāṃ lokabhāvanaḥ । sarvānvisarjayāmāsa devānṛṣigaṇāṃśca tān ॥1-203-30॥
