निर्याय नगराच्छूरा व्यूढानीकाः प्रहारिणः। त्रिगर्तानस्पृशन्मत्स्याः सूर्ये परिणते सति ॥०४-३१-१॥
niryāya nagarāc chūrā vyūḍhānīkāḥ prahāriṇaḥ. trigartān aspṛśan matsyāḥ sūrye pariṇate sati ॥04-31-1॥
[निर्याय (niryāya) - having departed; having gone out; नगरात् (nagarāt) - from the city; शूराः (śūrāḥ) - heroes; brave men; व्यूढानीकाः (vyūḍhānīkāḥ) - having arranged their forces; in battle order; प्रहारिणः (prahāriṇaḥ) - attackers; those ready to strike; त्रिगर्तान् (trigartān) - the Trigartas (people/tribe); अस्पृशन् (aspṛśan) - did not touch; did not reach; मत्स्याः (matsyāḥ) - the Matsyas (people/tribe); सूर्ये (sūrye) - when the sun; परिणते (pariṇate) - having set; having gone down; सति (sati) - when it had happened; when [that] was so;]
(Having departed from the city, the brave men, having arranged their forces, attackers, the Matsyas did not reach the Trigartas when the sun had set.)
The brave Matsyas, having departed from the city in battle formation, ready for attack, did not reach the Trigartas when the sun had set. (04-31-1)
ते त्रिगर्ताश्च मत्स्याश्च संरब्धा युद्धदुर्मदाः। अन्योन्यमभिगर्जन्तो गोषु गृद्धा महाबलाः ॥०४-३१-२॥
te trigartāś ca matsyāś ca saṁrabdhā yuddha-durmadāḥ। anyonyam abhigarjantaḥ goṣu gṛddhā mahā-balāḥ॥04-31-2॥
[ते (te) - they; त्रिगर्ताः (trigartāḥ) - Trigartas; च (ca) - and; मत्स्याः (matsyāḥ) - Matsyas; च (ca) - and; संरब्धाः (saṁrabdhāḥ) - enraged; युद्धदुर्मदाः (yuddha-durmadāḥ) - intoxicated with battle; अन्योन्यम् (anyonyam) - at each other; अभिगर्जन्तः (abhigarjantaḥ) - roaring; गोषु (goṣu) - for the cattle; गृद्धाः (gṛddhāḥ) - coveting; महाबलाः (mahā-balāḥ) - possessing great strength;]
(They, the Trigartas and the Matsyas, enraged and intoxicated with battle, roaring at each other, coveting the cattle, possessing great strength.)
The Trigartas and the Matsyas, fierce and battle-maddened, roared at each other with mighty strength, each coveting the cattle. (04-31-2)
भीमाश्च मत्तमातङ्गास्तोमराङ्कुशचोदिताः। ग्रामणीयैः समारूढाः कुशलैर्हस्तिसादिभिः ॥०४-३१-३॥
bhīmāś ca matta-mātaṅgāḥ tomarāṅkuśa-coditāḥ। grāmaṇīyaiḥ samārūḍhāḥ kuśalaiḥ hastisādibhiḥ॥04-31-3॥
[भीमाः (bhīmāḥ) - terrible; great; mighty; च (ca) - and; मत्तमातङ्गाः (matta-mātaṅgāḥ) - drunken elephants; तोमराङ्कुशचोदिताः (tomara-aṅkuśa-coditāḥ) - urged by spears and elephant-goads; ग्रामणीयैः (grāmaṇīyaiḥ) - by leaders; समारूढाः (samārūḍhāḥ) - mounted together; well-mounted; कुशलैः (kuśalaiḥ) - by skillful (ones); हस्तिसादिभिः (hastisādibhiḥ) - by elephant-riders;]
(And terrible drunken elephants, urged by spears and elephant-goads, mounted by leaders together, by skillful elephant-riders.)
And also mighty drunken elephants, driven with spears and goads, were mounted by chiefs and skillful mahouts. (04-31-3)
तेषां समागमो घोरस्तुमुलो लोमहर्षणः। देवासुरसमो राजन्नासीत्सूर्ये विलम्बति ॥०४-३१-४॥
teṣāṃ samāgamo ghorastumulo lomaharṣaṇaḥ। devāsurasamo rājannāsītsūrye vilambati॥04-31-4॥
[तेषां (teṣām) - of them; समागमः (samāgamaḥ) - meeting; घोरः (ghoraḥ) - terrible; तुमुलः (tumulaḥ) - tumultuous; लोमहर्षणः (lomaharṣaṇaḥ) - hair-raising; देव-असुर-समः (deva-asura-samaḥ) - equal to (a battle) between gods and asuras; राजन् (rājan) - O king; आसीत् (āsīt) - there was; सूर्ये (sūrye) - with the sun; विलम्बति (vilambati) - hanging overhead;]
(Of them meeting terrible tumultuous hair-raising (battle), equal to (a battle) between gods and asuras, O king, there was, with the sun hanging overhead.)
O king, their meeting was a terrible, tumultuous, and hair-raising encounter, equal to a battle between the gods and asuras, which took place while the sun was still overhead. (04-31-4)
उदतिष्ठद्रजो भौमं न प्रज्ञायत किञ्चन। पक्षिणश्चापतन्भूमौ सैन्येन रजसावृताः ॥०४-३१-५॥
udatiṣṭhad-rajo bhaumaṃ na prajñāyata kiñcana। pakṣiṇaś cāpatan bhūmau sainyena rajasā-vṛtāḥ॥04-31-5॥

(The dust rose up from the earth; not anything was visible. And birds, covered by dust by the army, fell on the ground.)
Dust rose from the earth, and nothing was visible. Birds, covered with dust raised by the army, fell to the ground. (04-31-5)
इषुभिर्व्यतिसंयद्भिरादित्योऽन्तरधीयत। खद्योतैरिव संयुक्तमन्तरिक्षं व्यराजत ॥०४-३१-६॥
iṣubhir vyatisaṃyadbhir ādityo 'ntaradhīyata। khadyotair iva saṃyuktam antarikṣaṃ vyarājata ॥04-31-6॥
[इषुभिः (iṣubhiḥ) - with arrows; व्यतिसंयद्भिः (vyatisaṃyadbhih) - completely covered by; आदित्यः (ādityaḥ) - the Sun; अन्तरधीयत (antaradhīyata) - disappeared; खद्योतैः (khadyotaiḥ) - by fireflies; इव (iva) - like; संयुक्तम् (saṃyuktam) - covered; अन्तरिक्षम् (antarikṣam) - the sky; व्यराजत (vyarājata) - shone;]
(The Sun, completely covered with arrows, disappeared. The sky, covered as if by fireflies, shone.)
The Sun was obscured by arrows and disappeared from view. The sky, filled as if with fireflies, glowed. (04-31-6)
रुक्मपृष्ठानि चापानि व्यतिषक्तानि धन्विनाम्। पततां लोकवीराणां सव्यदक्षिणमस्यताम् ॥०४-३१-७॥
rukmapṛṣṭhāni cāpāni vyatiṣaktāni dhanvinām। patatāṃ lokavīrāṇāṃ savyadakṣiṇamasyatām ॥04-31-7॥
[रुक्मपृष्ठानि (rukmapṛṣṭhāni) - having golden-backs; (referring to the bows); चापानि (cāpāni) - bows; व्यतिषक्तानि (vyatiṣaktāni) - interlaced; placed across; (entangled); धन्विनाम् (dhanvinām) - of the archers; (bowmen); पततां (patatāṃ) - of those falling; (dying); लोकवीराणां (lokavīrāṇāṃ) - of the heroes of the world; of the world-heroes; सव्यदक्षिणम् (savyadakṣiṇam) - to the left and right; अस्यताम् (asyatām) - of those who shot (the arrows);]
(Rukmapṛṣṭha bows interlaced of the archers, of the falling world-heroes, to the left and right, of those who shot (them).)
The golden-backed bows of the archers, interlaced, fell to the left and right of the fallen world-heroes who had shot them. (04-31-7)
रथा रथैः समाजग्मुः पादातैश्च पदातयः। सादिभिः सादिनश्चैव गजैश्चापि महागजाः ॥०४-३१-८॥
rathā rathaiḥ samājagmuḥ pādātaiś ca padātayaḥ. sādibhiḥ sādinaś caiva gajaiś cāpi mahāgajāḥ ॥04-31-8॥
[रथा (rathāḥ) - chariots; रथैः (rathaiḥ) - with chariots; समाजग्मुः (samājagmuḥ) - came together; पादातैः (pādātaiḥ) - with foot-soldiers; च (ca) - and; पदातयः (padātayaḥ) - foot-soldiers; सादिभिः (sādibhiḥ) - with riders; सादिनश्चैव (sādinaś ca eva) - riders and indeed; गजैः (gajaiḥ) - with elephants; च (ca) - and; अपि (api) - also; महागजाः (mahāgajāḥ) - great elephants;]
(Chariots with chariots came together, with foot-soldiers the foot-soldiers, with riders the riders and indeed, with elephants also the great elephants.)
Chariots joined chariots, foot-soldiers met foot-soldiers, riders confronted riders, and great elephants faced great elephants also. (04-31-8)
असिभिः पट्टिशैः प्रासैः शक्तिभिस्तोमरैरपि। संरब्धाः समरे राजन्निजघ्नुरितरेतरम् ॥०४-३१-९॥
asibhiḥ paṭṭiśaiḥ prāsaiḥ śaktibhis tomarair api। saṁrabdhāḥ samare rājan nijaghnur itaretaram ॥04-31-9॥
[असिभिः (asibhiḥ) - with swords; पट्टिशैः (paṭṭiśaiḥ) - with spears; प्रासैः (prāsaiḥ) - with lances; शक्तिभिः (śaktibhis) - with śaktis (javelins); तोमरैः (tomarair) - with tomaras (javelins); अपि (api) - also; संरब्धाः (saṁrabdhāḥ) - enraged; समरे (samare) - in the battle; राजन् (rājan) - O king; निजघ्नुḥ (nijaghnur) - they struck; इतरेतरम् (itaretaram) - one another;]
(With swords, with spears, with lances, with śaktis, and also with tomaras, enraged in the battle, O king, they struck one another.)
O king, enraged in the battle, they struck one another with swords, spears, lances, śaktis, and even with tomaras. (04-31-9)
निघ्नन्तः समरेऽन्योन्यं शूराः परिघबाहवः। न शेकुरभिसंरब्धाः शूरान्कर्तुं पराङ्मुखान् ॥०४-३१-१०॥
nighnantaḥ samare’nyonyaṃ śūrāḥ parighabāhavaḥ। na śekurabhisaṃrabdhāḥ śūrānkartuṃ parāṅmukhān ॥04-31-10॥
[निघ्नन्तः (nighnantaḥ) - slaying; समरे (samare) - in battle; अन्योन्यं (anyonyam) - one another; शूराः (śūrāḥ) - heroes; परिघबाहवः (parighabāhavaḥ) - having club-armed (with iron clubs as arms); न (na) - not; शेकुः (śekuḥ) - were able; अभिसंरब्धाः (abhisaṃrabdhāḥ) - extremely enraged; शूरान् (śūrān) - the heroes; कर्तुं (kartuṃ) - to make; पराङ्मुखान् (parāṅmukhān) - turned away (with their face turned away);]
(Slaying in battle one another, the heroes club-armed, not were able, extremely enraged, the heroes to make turned away.)
The club-armed heroes, slaying each other in battle, though extremely enraged, could not make the other heroes turn their backs. (04-31-10)
कॢप्तोत्तरोष्ठं सुनसं कॢप्तकेशमलङ्कृतम्। अदृश्यत शिरश्छिन्नं रजोध्वस्तं सकुण्डलम् ॥०४-३१-११॥
kḷptottaroṣṭhaṃ sunasaṃ kḷptakeśamalaṅkṛtam। adṛśyata śiraśchinnaṃ rajodhvastaṃ sakuṇḍalam ॥04-31-11॥
[कॢप्त-उत्तरोष्ठम् (kḷpta-uttaroṣṭham) - fashioned upper lip; सु-नसम् (su-nasam) - beautiful nose; कॢप्त-केश-मलङ्कृतम् (kḷpta-keśa-malaṅkṛtam) - adorned (with) arranged hair; अदृश्यत (adṛśyata) - was seen; शिरः-छिन्नम् (śiraḥ-chinnam) - head severed; रजः-ध्वस्तम् (rajaḥ-dhvastam) - covered with dust; स-कुण्डलम् (sa-kuṇḍalam) - with earrings;]
(Fashioned upper lip, beautiful nose, adorned (with) arranged hair— the head, severed, covered with dust, with earrings, was seen.)

अदृश्यंस्तत्र गात्राणि शरैश्छिन्नानि भागशः। शालस्कन्धनिकाशानि क्षत्रियाणां महामृधे ॥०४-३१-१२॥
adṛśyaṃs tatra gātrāṇi śaraiś chinnāni bhāgaśaḥ। śālaskandhanikāśāni kṣatriyāṇāṃ mahāmṛdhe ॥04-31-12॥
[अदृश्यंस्तत्र (adṛśyaṃs tatra) - invisible there; गात्राणि (gātrāṇi) - members (limbs); शरैः (śaraiḥ) - by arrows; छिन्नानि (chinnāni) - severed; भागशः (bhāgaśaḥ) - in parts; शालस्कन्धनिकाशानि (śālaskandhanikāśāni) - resembling trunks of śāla trees; क्षत्रियाणां (kṣatriyāṇām) - of the kṣatriyas; महामृधे (mahāmṛdhe) - in the great battle;]
(In that place, the invisible limbs, of the kṣatriyas, severed by arrows, in parts, resembling trunks of śāla trees, in the great battle.)
There, in the great battle, the severed limbs of the kṣatriyas, cut in pieces by arrows, which resembled the trunks of śāla trees, became invisible. (04-31-12)
नागभोगनिकाशैश्च बाहुभिश्चन्दनोक्षितैः। आकीर्णा वसुधा तत्र शिरोभिश्च सकुण्डलैः ॥०४-३१-१३॥
nāgabhoganikāśaiś ca bāhubhiś candanokṣitaiḥ। ākīrṇā vasudhā tatra śirobhiś ca sakuṇḍalaiḥ॥04-31-13॥
[नागभोगनिकाशैः (nāga-bhoga-nikāśaiḥ) - resembling the coils of serpents; च (ca) - and; बाहुभिः (bāhubhiḥ) - with arms; चन्दन-उक्षितैः (candana-ukṣitaiḥ) - anointed with sandal-paste; आकीर्णा (ākīrṇā) - strewn; वसुधा (vasudhā) - the earth; तत्र (tatra) - there; शिरोभिः (śirobhiḥ) - with heads; च (ca) - and; सकुण्डलैः (sakuṇḍalaiḥ) - with earrings;]
(The earth there (was) strewn with arms resembling the coils of serpents and anointed with sandal-paste, and with heads with earrings.)

उपशाम्यद्रजो भौमं रुधिरेण प्रसर्पता। कश्मलं प्राविशद्घोरं निर्मर्यादमवर्तत ॥०४-३१-१४॥
upaśāmyadrajo bhaumaṃ rudhireṇa prasarpatā | kaśmalaṃ prāviśad ghoraṃ nirmaryādam avartata ॥04-31-14॥

(Settling dust on the earth with blood spreading, a torpor entered (and) a terrible (and) boundless (state) occurred.)
As the dust settled on the earth with blood spreading, a dreadful and limitless stupor set in. (04-31-14)
शतानीकः शतं हत्वा विशालाक्षश्चतुःशतम्। प्रविष्टौ महतीं सेनां त्रिगर्तानां महारथौ ॥ आर्च्छेतां बहुसंरब्धौ केशाकेशि नखानखि ॥०४-३१-१५॥
śatānīkaḥ śataṃ hatvā viśālākṣaś catuḥśatam. praviṣṭau mahatīṃ senāṃ trigartānāṃ mahārathau ॥ arcchetāṃ bahusaṃrabdhau keśākeśi nakhānakhi ॥04-31-15॥

Śatānīka, after killing a hundred men, and Viśālākṣa, after slaying four hundred, both mighty chariot-warriors entered the great army of the Trigartas. Overcome with fury, they attacked each other, fighting hair to hair and nail to nail. (04-31-15)
लक्षयित्वा त्रिगर्तानां तौ प्रविष्टौ रथव्रजम्। जग्मतुः सूर्यदत्तश्च मदिराश्वश्च पृष्ठतः ॥०४-३१-१६॥
lakṣayitvā trigartānāṃ tau praviṣṭau rathavrajam। jagmatuḥ sūryadattaś ca madirāśvaś ca pṛṣṭhataḥ ॥04-31-16॥
[लक्षयित्वा (lakṣayitvā) - having observed; त्रिगर्तानाम् (trigartānām) - of the Trigartas; तौ (tau) - those two; प्रविष्टौ (praviṣṭau) - entered; रथव्रजम् (rathavrajam) - the array of chariots; जग्मतुः (jagmatuḥ) - they went; सूर्यदत्तश् (sūryadattaś) - Sūryadatta; च (ca) - and; मदिराश्वश् (madirāśvaś) - Madirāśva; च (ca) - and; पृष्ठतः (pṛṣṭhataḥ) - behind;]
(Having observed the Trigartas, those two entered the array of chariots. Sūryadatta and Madirāśva went behind.)
After observing the Trigartas, the two entered the chariot division, followed by Sūryadatta and Madirāśva from behind. (04-31-16)
विराटस्तत्र सङ्ग्रामे हत्वा पञ्चशतान्रथान्। हयानां च शतान्यत्र हत्वा पञ्च महारथान् ॥०४-३१-१७॥
virāṭas tatra saṅgrāme hatvā pañcaśatān rathān। hayānāṃ ca śatāny atra hatvā pañca mahārathān॥04-31-17॥

(Virāṭa there in the battle, having slain five hundred chariots, and of horses here hundreds, having slain five great charioteers.)
Virāṭa, there in the battle, slew five hundred charioteers, and here, after slaying hundreds of horses, he also killed five great warriors. (04-31-17)
चरन्स विविधान्मार्गान्रथेषु रथयूथपः। त्रिगर्तानां सुशर्माणमार्च्छद्रुक्मरथं रणे ॥०४-३१-१८॥
caraṅs vividhān mārgān ratheṣu rathayūthapaḥ। trigartānāṃ suśarmāṇam ārcchad rukmarathaṃ raṇe ॥04-31-18॥
[चरन् (caraṅ) - moving; विविधान् (vividhān) - various; मार्गान् (mārgān) - paths; रथेषु (ratheṣu) - among chariots; रथयूथपः (rathayūthapaḥ) - the chief of chariot-warriors; त्रिगर्तानाम् (trigartānām) - of the Trigartas; सुशर्माणम् (suśarmāṇam) - Suśarmā; आर्च्छत् (ārcchat) - reached; रुक्मरथम् (rukmaratham) - golden chariot; रणे (raṇe) - in battle; ॥०४-३१-१८॥ (॥04-31-18॥) - ;]
(Moving various paths among chariots, the chief of chariot-warriors reached Suśarmā of the Trigartas, (who was) in a golden chariot in battle.)
Moving along various paths among the chariots, the chief of the chariot-warriors approached Suśarmā of the Trigartas, who was in his golden chariot on the battlefield. (04-31-18)
तौ व्यावहरतां तत्र महात्मानौ महाबलौ। अन्योन्यमभिगर्जन्तौ गोष्ठे गोवृषभाविव ॥०४-३१-१९॥
tau vyāvaharatāṃ tatra mahātmānau mahābalau। anyonyam abhigarjantau goṣṭhe govṛṣabhāv iva॥04-31-19॥
[तौ (tau) - they two; व्यावहरतां (vyāvaharatāṃ) - were confronting; तत्र (tatra) - there; महात्मानौ (mahātmānau) - great-souled ones; महाबलौ (mahābalau) - mighty; अन्योन्यम् (anyonyam) - one another; अभिगर्जन्तौ (abhigarjantau) - roaring at; गोष्ठे (goṣṭhe) - in the cowshed; गोवृषभौ (govṛṣabhau) - two bulls; इव (iva) - like;]
(They two were confronting there, the great-souled, the mighty, at one another roaring, in the cowshed, like two bulls.)
Those two, both great-souled and mighty, confronted each other there, each roaring at the other in the cowshed like two bulls. (04-31-19)
ततो रथाभ्यां रथिनौ व्यतियाय समन्ततः। शरान्व्यसृजतां शीघ्रं तोयधारा घनाविव ॥०४-३१-२०॥
tato rathābhyāṃ rathinau vyatiyāya samantataḥ। śarān vyasṛjatāṃ śīghraṃ toyadhārā ghanāviva ॥04-31-20॥

(Then the two charioteers by the two chariots passed each other all around; quickly they sent forth arrows, like streams of water (by) the two clouds.)
Then the two charioteers, mounted on their chariots, wheeled past each other on all sides, and rapidly released arrows like streams of water poured forth by two clouds. (04-31-20)
अन्योन्यं चातिसंरब्धौ विचेरतुरमर्षणौ। कृतास्त्रौ निशितैर्बाणैरसिशक्तिगदाभृतौ ॥०४-३१-२१॥
anyonyaṃ cātisaṃrabdhau viceratur amarṣaṇau. kṛtāstrau niśitair bāṇair asiśaktigadābhṛtau ॥04-31-21॥
[अन्योन्यं (anyonyaṃ) - one another; च (ca) - and; अतिसंरब्धौ (atisaṃrabdhau) - exceedingly enraged (dual); विचेरतुः (viceratuḥ) - roamed (dual); अमर्षणौ (amarṣaṇau) - intolerant (of insult), unendurant (dual); कृतास्त्रौ (kṛtāstrau) - adept in weapons (dual); निशितैः (niśitaiḥ) - with sharp; बाणैः (bāṇaiḥ) - arrows; असिशक्तिगदाभृतौ (asiśaktigadābhṛtau) - bearing sword, spear, and mace (dual);]
(One another and exceedingly enraged the two, intolerant, roamed, adept in weapons, with sharp arrows, bearing sword, spear, and mace.)
Both, exceedingly enraged and intolerant, roamed attacking one another, adept in weapons, wielding sharp arrows, swords, spears, and maces. (04-31-21)
ततो राजा सुशर्माणं विव्याध दशभिः शरैः। पञ्चभिः पञ्चभिश्चास्य विव्याध चतुरो हयान् ॥०४-३१-२२॥
tato rājā suśarmāṇam vivyādha daśabhiḥ śaraiḥ। pañcabhiḥ pañcabhiś cāsya vivyādha caturo hayān ॥04-31-22॥
[ततः (tataḥ) - then; राजा (rājā) - king; सुशर्माणम् (suśarmāṇam) - Suśarman; विव्याध (vivyādha) - pierced; दशभिः (daśabhiḥ) - with ten; शरैः (śaraiḥ) - arrows; पञ्चभिः (pañcabhiḥ) - with five; पञ्चभिश्च (pañcabhiś ca) - and with five; अस्य (asya) - his; विव्याध (vivyādha) - pierced; चतुरः (caturo) - four; हयान् (hayān) - horses;]
(Then the king pierced Suśarman with ten arrows. With five and with another five, he pierced his four horses.)
Then the king pierced Suśarman with ten arrows, and with five plus five arrows he pierced his four horses. (04-31-22)
तथैव मत्स्यराजानं सुशर्मा युद्धदुर्मदः। पञ्चाशता शितैर्बाणैर्विव्याध परमास्त्रवित् ॥०४-३१-२३॥
tathaiva matsyarājānaṃ suśarmā yuddhadurmadaḥ। pañcāśatā śitairbāṇairvivyādha paramāstravit ॥04-31-23॥
[तथैव (tathaiva) - in the same manner; also; thus; in that way; मत्स्यराजानम् (matsyarājānam) - the Matsya king; सुशर्मा (suśarmā) - Suśarmā; युद्धदुर्मदः (yuddhadurmadaḥ) - arrogant in battle; पञ्चाशता (pañcāśatā) - with fifty; शितैः (śitaiḥ) - sharp; बाणैः (bāṇaiḥ) - arrows; विव्याध (vivyādha) - pierced; परमास्त्रवित् (paramāstravit) - knower of supreme weapons;]
(In the same manner, Suśarmā, arrogant in battle, pierced the Matsya king with fifty sharp arrows, being a knower of supreme weapons.)
Similarly, Suśarmā, proud in battle and skilled in supreme weapons, struck the Matsya king with fifty sharp arrows. (04-31-23)
ततः सैन्यं समावृत्य मत्स्यराजसुशर्मणोः। नाभ्यजानंस्तदान्योन्यं प्रदोषे रजसावृते ॥०४-३१-२४॥
tataḥ sainyaṃ samāvṛtya matsyarājasuśarmaṇoḥ। nābhyajānans tad ānyonyaṃ pradoṣe rajasaāvṛte ॥04-31-24॥

(Then, having surrounded the army of the Matsya king and Suśarman, at that time, not did they recognize each other, at dusk, enveloped by dust.)
Then, having surrounded the armies of the Matsya king and Suśarman, they did not recognize each other at dusk when all was covered in dust. (04-31-24)
