प्रियो बहुमतश्चाहं नर्तको गीतकोविदः। आचार्यवच्च मां नित्यं मन्यते दुहिता तव ॥०४-६७-३॥
priyo bahumataś cāhaṃ nartako gītakovidaḥ। ācāryavac ca māṃ nityaṃ manyate duhitā tava ॥04-67-3॥

tasmān nimantraye tvāhaṃ duhituḥ pṛthivīpate। śuddho jitendriyo dāntas tasyāḥ śuddhiḥ kṛtā mayā॥04-67-5॥

(Having regarded those arrived, Matsya, the best among upholders of dharma, became pleased, having given his daughter, her, to Abhimanyu.)
Seeing those who had arrived, King Matsya, the best of the righteous, was pleased and gave his daughter to Abhimanyu. (04-67-19)

(Then, when the kings had approached, then and again, there came Vāsudeva, the wearer of a forest garland, the wielder of the plough, Kṛtavarmā and Hārdikya, and Yuyudhāna and Sātyaki.)
Then, as the kings gathered there, Vāsudeva—adorned with a forest garland and wielding the plough—arrived, along with Kṛtavarmā, Hārdikya, Yuyudhāna, and Sātyaki. (04-67-20)
अनाधृष्टिस्तथाक्रूरः साम्बो निशठ एव च। अभिमन्युमुपादाय सह मात्रा परन्तपाः ॥०४-६७-२१॥

इन्द्रसेनादयश्चैव रथैस्तैः सुसमाहितैः। आययुः सहिताः सर्वे परिसंवत्सरोषिताः ॥०४-६७-२२॥

वृष्ण्यन्धकाश्च बहवो भोजाश्च परमौजसः। अन्वयुर्वृष्णिशार्दूलं वासुदेवं महाद्युतिम् ॥०४-६७-२४॥
vṛṣṇyandhakāś ca bahavo bhojāś ca paramaujasaḥ। anvayur vṛṣṇiśārdūlaṃ vāsudevaṃ mahādyutim ॥04-67-24॥

(The Vṛṣṇis and Andhakas and many Bhojas of supreme might followed the Vṛṣṇi tiger Vāsudeva of great splendor.)
The Vṛṣṇis, Andhakas, and many mighty Bhojas followed Vāsudeva, the tiger among the Vṛṣṇis, who possessed great splendor. (04-67-24)
पारिबर्हं ददौ कृष्णः पाण्डवानां महात्मनाम्। स्त्रियो रत्नानि वासांसि पृथक्पृथगनेकशः ॥ ततो विवाहो विधिवद्ववृते मत्स्यपार्थयोः ॥०४-६७-२५॥
pāribarhaṃ dadau kṛṣṇaḥ pāṇḍavānāṃ mahātmanām. striyo ratnāni vāsāṃsi pṛthakpṛthaganekaśaḥ ॥ tato vivāho vidhivadvavṛte matsya-pārthayoḥ ॥04-67-25॥

(Wedding gifts Kṛṣṇa gave to the Pāṇḍavas, the great-souled. Women, jewels, garments, separately, in many ways. Then marriage according to procedure was accomplished between Matsya and Pārtha. (04-67-25))

(Then conch-shells and drums and gomukha-horns and musical instruments also, by the sons of Pṛthā, being played, resounded in the palace of (the king of) Matsya.)
Then conches, drums, gomukha-horns, and other instruments were loudly played by the sons of Pṛthā, and they resounded throughout the palace of the king of Matsya. (04-67-26)
उच्चावचान्मृगाञ्जघ्नुर्मेध्यांश्च शतशः पशून्। सुरामैरेयपानानि प्रभूतान्यभ्यहारयन् ॥०४-६७-२७॥
uccāvacān mṛgāñ jaghnur medhyāṃś ca śataśaḥ paśūn। surā-maireya-pānāni prabhūtāni abhyāharayan ॥04-67-27॥
[उच्चावचान् (uccāvacān) - of various sorts; (high and low); मृगान् (mṛgān) - animals; (beasts); जघ्नुः (jaghnur) - they killed; मेध्यान् (medhyān) - fit for sacrifice; च (ca) - and; शतशः (śataśaḥ) - by hundreds; पशून् (paśūn) - animals; सुरा-मैरय-पानानि (surā-maireya-pānāni) - the drinks surā and maireya; प्रभूतानि (prabhūtāni) - in great quantities; अभ्यहारयन् (abhyāharayan) - they brought;]
(Of various kinds, the animals they killed, fit for sacrifice, and by hundreds, animals; the drinks surā and maireya in abundance they brought.)

गायनाख्यानशीलाश्च नटा वैतालिकास्तथा। स्तुवन्तस्तानुपातिष्ठन्सूताश्च सह मागधैः ॥०४-६७-२८॥
gāyanākhyānaśīlāś ca naṭā vaitālikās tathā। stuvantas tān upātiṣṭhan sūtāś ca saha māgadhaiḥ॥04-67-28॥
[गायनाख्यानशीलाः (gāyanākhyānaśīlāḥ) - having the habit of singing and reciting stories; च (ca) - and; नटाः (naṭāḥ) - actors; वैतालिकाः (vaitālikāḥ) - bards; तथा (tathā) - also; स्तुवन्तः (stuvantaḥ) - praising; तान् (tān) - them; उपातिष्ठन् (upātiṣṭhan) - attended upon; सूताः (sūtāḥ) - charioteers (bards); च (ca) - and; सह (saha) - along with; मागधैः (māgadhaiḥ) - with the Magadhas (another class of bards);]
(Having the habit of singing and reciting stories and actors, bards also, praising them, attended upon, charioteers and along with the Magadhas.)
Those adept at singing and storytelling, actors, and bards likewise, together with the Magadhas, and charioteers, praising them, attended upon them. (04-67-28)
सुदेष्णां च पुरस्कृत्य मत्स्यानां च वरस्त्रियः। आजग्मुश्चारुसर्वाङ्ग्यः सुमृष्टमणिकुण्डलाः ॥०४-६७-२९॥
sudeṣṇāṃ ca puraskṛtya matsyānāṃ ca varastriyaḥ. ājagmuś cāru sarvāṅgyaḥ sumṛṣṭa-maṇi-kuṇḍalāḥ ॥04-67-29॥
[सुदेष्णाम् (sudeṣṇām) - Sudeṣṇā (a proper noun, name of a queen); च (ca) - and; पुरःकृत्य (puraskṛtya) - having put in front; having placed before; मत्स्यानाम् (matsyānām) - of the Matsyas (a people or kingdom); च (ca) - and; वरस्त्रियः (varastriyaḥ) - excellent women; distinguished women; आजग्मुः (ājagmuḥ) - they came; they arrived; चारु (cāru) - beautiful; सर्वाङ्ग्यः (sarvāṅgyaḥ) - of lovely limbs; whose whole bodies are charming; सुमृष्ट (sumṛṣṭa) - well-polished; brilliantly adorned; मणिकुण्डलाः (maṇi-kuṇḍalāḥ) - gem-studded earrings;]
(Sudeṣṇā and, having placed her at the front, the excellent women of the Matsyas, beautiful of all limbs, adorned with well-polished gem-studded earrings, came.)
Placing Sudeṣṇā at the forefront, the chief women of the Matsyas, beautiful in every limb and adorned with gleaming gem earrings, came forward. (04-67-29)
वर्णोपपन्नास्ता नार्यो रूपवत्यः स्वलङ्कृताः। सर्वाश्चाभ्यभवत्कृष्णा रूपेण यशसा श्रिया ॥०४-६७-३०॥
varṇopapannās tā nāryo rūpavatyaḥ svalāṅkṛtāḥ। sarvāś cābhyabhavat kṛṣṇā rūpeṇa yaśasā śriyā॥04-67-30॥
[वर्णोपपन्नाः (varṇopapannāḥ) - endowed with color; ता (tā) - those; नार्यः (nāryaḥ) - women; रूपवत्यः (rūpavatyaḥ) - possessing beauty; स्वलङ्कृताः (svalāṅkṛtāḥ) - well-adorned; सर्वाः (sarvāḥ) - all; च (ca) - and; अभ्यभवत् (abhyabhavat) - excelled; कृष्णा (kṛṣṇā) - Kṛṣṇā; रूपेण (rūpeṇa) - by beauty; यशसा (yaśasā) - by fame; श्रिया (śriyā) - by fortune;]
(Endowed with color, those women possessing beauty, well-adorned— and Kṛṣṇā excelled all in beauty, fame, and fortune.)
Those women, possessing color, beauty, and well adorned, were all surpassed by Kṛṣṇā in beauty, fame, and splendor. (04-67-30)
परिवार्योत्तरां तास्तु राजपुत्रीमलङ्कृताम्। सुतामिव महेन्द्रस्य पुरस्कृत्योपतस्थिरे ॥०४-६७-३१॥
parivāryottarāṃ tāstu rājaputrīṃ alaṅkṛtām। sutām iva mahendrasya puraskṛtyopatasthire ॥04-67-31॥

तत्रातिष्ठन्महाराजो रूपमिन्द्रस्य धारयन्। स्नुषां तां प्रतिजग्राह कुन्तीपुत्रो युधिष्ठिरः ॥०४-६७-३३॥
tatrātiṣṭhan mahārājo rūpam indrasya dhārayān। snuṣāṃ tāṃ pratijagrāha kuntī-putro yudhiṣṭhiraḥ॥04-67-33॥

(Having accepted her, and having Janārdana placed in front, Pārtha caused the marriage of the great-souled Saubhadra to be performed.)
Having received her and with Janārdana (Kṛṣṇa) at the forefront, Pārtha (Arjuna) arranged the marriage of the noble Saubhadra (Abhimanyu). (04-67-34)
तस्मै सप्त सहस्राणि हयानां वातरंहसाम्। द्वे च नागशते मुख्ये प्रादाद्बहु धनं तदा ॥०४-६७-३५॥
tasmai sapta sahasrāṇi hayānāṃ vātaraṃhasām। dve ca nāgaśate mukhye prādād bahu dhanaṃ tadā ॥04-67-35॥

At that time, he gave him seven thousand wind-swift horses, two hundred excellent elephants, and much wealth. (04-67-35)
कृते विवाहे तु तदा धर्मपुत्रो युधिष्ठिरः। ब्राह्मणेभ्यो ददौ वित्तं यदुपाहरदच्युतः ॥०४-६७-३६॥
kṛte vivāhe tu tadā dharmaputro yudhiṣṭhiraḥ। brāhmaṇebhyo dadau vittaṃ yad upāharad acyutaḥ॥04-67-36॥

(But when the marriage had been performed, then Dharmaputra Yudhiṣṭhira gave to the Brāhmaṇas the wealth which Acyuta (Kṛṣṇa) had brought.)

गोसहस्राणि रत्नानि वस्त्राणि विविधानि च। भूषणानि च मुख्यानि यानानि शयनानि च ॥०४-६७-३७॥
