वासुदेवो महद्भूतं सम्भूतं सह दैवतैः। न परं पुण्डरीकाक्षाद्दृश्यते भरतर्षभ ॥ मार्कण्डेयश्च गोविन्दं कथयत्यद्भुतं महत् ॥६-६३-२॥

(Who supports the beings and this earth with mountains, by meditation, the sages call him mighty.)
The sages, through meditation, refer to him as the mighty one who upholds all beings and the earth with its mountains.
कर्णस्रोतोद्भवं चापि मधुं नाम महासुरम्। तमुग्रमुग्रकर्माणमुग्रां बुद्धिं समास्थितम् ॥ ब्रह्मणोऽपचितिं कुर्वञ्जघान पुरुषोत्तमः ॥६-६३-१२॥

(Born from the ear, also the great demon named Madhu, fierce, of fierce deeds, having assumed a fierce mind, doing reverence of Brahma, was killed by the Supreme Person.)

(Indeed, from the killing of his father, gods, demons, and humans call him Madhusudana and Janardana. Varaha, Simha, Trivikrama, the path, the Lord.)
After the slaying of his father, he is known among gods, demons, and humans as Madhusudana and Janardana. He is also called Varaha, Simha, and Trivikrama, the path and the Lord.
एष माता पिता चैव सर्वेषां प्राणिनां हरिः। परं हि पुण्डरीकाक्षान्न भूतं न भविष्यति ॥६-६३-१४॥
eṣa mātā pitā caiva sarveṣāṃ prāṇināṃ hariḥ। paraṃ hi puṇḍarīkākṣānna bhūtaṃ na bhaviṣyati ॥6-63-14॥

(This Hari is the mother and father of all beings; indeed, nothing has been or will be superior to the lotus-eyed.)

मुखतोऽसृजद्ब्राह्मणान्बाहुभ्यां क्षत्रियांस्तथा। वैश्यांश्चाप्यूरुतो राजञ्शूद्रान्पद्भ्यां तथैव च ॥ तपसा नियतो देवो निधानं सर्वदेहिनाम् ॥६-६३-१५॥
mukhato'sṛjadbrāhmaṇānbāhubhyāṃ kṣatriyāṃstathā। vaiśyāṃścāpyūruto rājañśūdrānpadbhyaṃ tathaiva ca ॥ tapasā niyato devo nidhānaṃ sarvadehinām ॥6-63-15॥

(From the mouth, he created Brahmins; from the arms, Kshatriyas; thus, Vaishyas also from the thighs, O king, Shudras from the feet in the same way. By penance, the god is controlled, the abode of all beings.)

ब्रह्मभूतममावास्यां पौर्णमास्यां तथैव च। योगभूतं परिचरन्केशवं महदाप्नुयात् ॥६-६३-१६॥
brahmabhūtamamāvāsyāṃ paurṇamāsyāṃ tathaiva ca। yogabhūtaṃ paricaran keśavaṃ mahad āpnuyāt ॥6-63-16॥
[ब्रह्मभूतम् (brahmabhūtam) - in the state of Brahman; अमावास्यां (amāvāsyāṃ) - on the new moon day; पौर्णमास्यां (paurṇamāsyāṃ) - on the full moon day; तथैव (tathaiva) - in the same way; च (ca) - and; योगभूतं (yogabhūtaṃ) - in the state of yoga; परिचरन् (paricaran) - serving; केशवं (keśavam) - Keshava; महत् (mahat) - great; आप्नुयात् (āpnuyāt) - attains;]
(In the state of Brahman, on the new moon day and on the full moon day, in the same way, serving Keshava in the state of yoga, one attains greatness.)
One who serves Keshava in the state of Brahman, whether on the new moon day or the full moon day, attains greatness through yoga.
केशवः परमं तेजः सर्वलोकपितामहः। एवमाहुर्हृषीकेशं मुनयो वै नराधिप ॥६-६३-१७॥
keśavaḥ paramaṃ tejaḥ sarvalokapitāmahaḥ। evamāhurhṛṣīkeśaṃ munayo vai narādhipa ॥6-63-17॥
[केशवः (keśavaḥ) - Keshava; परमं (paramaṃ) - supreme; तेजः (tejaḥ) - light; सर्वलोकपितामहः (sarvalokapitāmahaḥ) - grandfather of all worlds; एवम् (evam) - thus; आहुः (āhuḥ) - say; हृषीकेशं (hṛṣīkeśaṃ) - Hrishikesha; मुनयः (munayaḥ) - sages; वै (vai) - indeed; नराधिप (narādhipa) - O king;]
(Keshava is the supreme light, the grandfather of all worlds. Thus say the sages to Hrishikesha, indeed, O king.)

एवमेनं विजानीहि आचार्यं पितरं गुरुम्। कृष्णो यस्य प्रसीदेत लोकास्तेनाक्षया जिताः ॥६-६३-१८॥

[एवम् (evam) - thus; एनम् (enam) - this; विजानीहि (vijānīhi) - know; आचार्यम् (ācāryam) - teacher; पितरम् (pitaram) - father; गुरुम् (gurum) - guru; कृष्णः (kṛṣṇaḥ) - Krishna; यस्मिन् (yasmin) - in whom; प्रसीदेत् (prasīdet) - is pleased; लोकाः (lokāḥ) - worlds; तेन (tena) - by him; अक्षयाः (akṣayāḥ) - imperishable; जिताः (jitāḥ) - conquered;]
(Thus, know this teacher, father, and guru. By whom Krishna is pleased, the worlds are imperishably conquered by him.)
Thus, recognize this person as your teacher, father, and guru. If Krishna is pleased with him, he will conquer the worlds imperishably.
यश्चैवैनं भयस्थाने केशवं शरणं व्रजेत्। सदा नरः पठंश्चेदं स्वस्तिमान्स सुखी भवेत् ॥६-६३-१९॥
yaścaivainaṃ bhayasthāne keśavaṃ śaraṇaṃ vrajet। sadā naraḥ paṭhaṃścedaṃ svastimāns sukhī bhavet ॥6-63-19॥

(Who indeed, in a place of fear, should go to Keshava for refuge, always a man reciting this becomes prosperous and happy.)
Whoever seeks refuge in Keshava in times of fear and always recites this will become prosperous and happy.
ये च कृष्णं प्रपद्यन्ते ते न मुह्यन्ति मानवाः। भये महति ये मग्नाः पाति नित्यं जनार्दनः ॥६-६३-२०॥
ye ca kṛṣṇaṃ prapadyante te na muhyanti mānavāḥ। bhaye mahati ye magnāḥ pāti nityaṃ janārdanaḥ ॥6-63-20॥
[ये (ye) - those who; च (ca) - and; कृष्णं (kṛṣṇam) - Krishna; प्रपद्यन्ते (prapadyante) - surrender; ते (te) - they; न (na) - not; मुह्यन्ति (muhyanti) - are deluded; मानवाः (mānavāḥ) - humans; भये (bhaye) - in fear; महति (mahati) - great; ये (ye) - those who; मग्नाः (magnāḥ) - are immersed; पाति (pāti) - protects; नित्यं (nityaṃ) - always; जनार्दनः (janārdanaḥ) - Janardana;]
(Those who surrender to Krishna, they are not deluded, humans. In great fear, those who are immersed, Janardana always protects.)
Those who surrender to Krishna are never deluded. In times of great fear, Janardana always protects those who are immersed in it.
एतद्युधिष्ठिरो ज्ञात्वा याथातथ्येन भारत। सर्वात्मना महात्मानं केशवं जगदीश्वरम् ॥ प्रपन्नः शरणं राजन्योगानामीश्वरं प्रभुम् ॥६-६३-२१॥
etadyudhiṣṭhiro jñātvā yāthātathyena bhārata। sarvātmanā mahātmānaṃ keśavaṃ jagadīśvaram ॥ prapannaḥ śaraṇaṃ rājanyogānāmīśvaraṃ prabhum ॥6-63-21॥

(This, Yudhishthira, having known truly, O Bharata, with all his soul, the great soul Keshava, the Lord of the universe, having surrendered, refuge, O King, of yogis, the Lord, the master.)
Understanding this truthfully, Yudhishthira, O Bharata, surrendered with all his soul to the great soul Keshava, the Lord of the universe, seeking refuge in the master of yogis, O King.
