tato duryodhano rājā mohātpratyāgatastadā। śaravarṣaiḥ punarbhīmaṃ pratyavārayadacyutam ॥6-74-1॥

(Then King Duryodhana, in confusion, returned. With showers of arrows, he again blocked Bhima, the infallible one.)

एकीभूताः पुनश्चैव तव पुत्रा महारथाः। समेत्य समरे भीमं योधयामासुरुद्यताः ॥६-७४-२॥

भीमसेनोऽपि समरे सम्प्राप्य स्वरथं पुनः। समारुह्य महाबाहुर्ययौ येन तवात्मजः ॥६-७४-३॥
bhīmaseno'pi samare samprāpya svarathaṃ punaḥ। samāruhya mahābāhuryayau yena tavātmajaḥ ॥6-74-3॥

प्रगृह्य च महावेगं परासुकरणं दृढम्। चित्रं शरासनं सङ्ख्ये शरैर्विव्याध ते सुतान् ॥६-७४-४॥

saṁsmṛtya mantritaṁ pūrvaṁ nigrahe bhīmakarmaṇaḥ। niścayaṁ manasā kṛtvā nigrahītuṁ pracakramuḥ ॥6-74-9॥

तथेतरांस्तव सुतांस्ताडयामास भारत। शरैर्बहुविधैः सङ्ख्ये रुक्मपुङ्खैः सुवेगितैः ॥६-७४-१२॥
