ततो दुर्योधनो राजा लोहितायति भास्करे। सङ्ग्रामरभसो भीमं हन्तुकामोऽभ्यधावत ॥६-७५-१॥
tato duryodhano rājā lohitāyati bhāskare। saṅgrāmarabhaso bhīmaṃ hantukāmo'bhyadhāvata ॥6-75-1॥

(Then King Duryodhana, as the sun was reddening, eager for battle, rushed towards Bhima, desiring to kill.)
As the sun turned red, King Duryodhana, filled with battle eagerness, charged towards Bhima with the intent to kill.
तमायान्तमभिप्रेक्ष्य नृवीरं दृढवैरिणम्। भीमसेनः सुसङ्क्रुद्ध इदं वचनमब्रवीत् ॥६-७५-२॥
tamāyāntamabhiprekṣya nṛvīraṃ dṛḍhavairiṇam। bhīmasenaḥ susaṅkruddha idaṃ vacanamabravīt ॥6-75-2॥

(Having seen him approaching, the warrior and firm enemy, Bhimasena, very angry, spoke this speech.)

अयं स कालः सम्प्राप्तो वर्षपूगाभिकाङ्क्षितः। अद्य त्वां निहनिष्यामि यदि नोत्सृजसे रणम् ॥६-७५-३॥
ayaṁ sa kālaḥ samprāpto varṣapūgābhikāṅkṣitaḥ। adya tvāṁ nihaniṣyāmi yadi notsṛjase raṇam ॥6-75-3॥

(This is that time which has arrived, desired for many years. Today I will slay you if you do not leave the battle.)
The awaited time has finally come after many years. Today, I will kill you if you do not abandon the fight.
अद्य कुन्त्याः परिक्लेशं वनवासं च कृत्स्नशः। द्रौपद्याश्च परिक्लेशं प्रणोत्स्यामि हते त्वयि ॥६-७५-४॥
adya kuntyāḥ parikleśaṃ vanavāsaṃ ca kṛtsnaśaḥ। draupadyāśca parikleśaṃ praṇotsyāmi hate tvayi ॥6-75-4॥
[अद्य (adya) - today; कुन्त्याः (kuntyāḥ) - of Kunti; परिक्लेशं (parikleśaṃ) - suffering; वनवासं (vanavāsaṃ) - forest dwelling; च (ca) - and; कृत्स्नशः (kṛtsnaśaḥ) - completely; द्रौपद्याः (draupadyāḥ) - of Draupadi; च (ca) - and; परिक्लेशं (parikleśaṃ) - suffering; प्रणोत्स्यामि (praṇotsyāmi) - I will end; हते (hate) - when slain; त्वयि (tvayi) - you;]
(Today, I will completely end the suffering of Kunti and the forest dwelling, and the suffering of Draupadi, when you are slain.)
Today, I will put an end to the complete suffering of Kunti and Draupadi, including their time in the forest, once you are defeated.
यत्त्वं दुरोदरो भूत्वा पाण्डवानवमन्यसे। तस्य पापस्य गान्धारे पश्य व्यसनमागतम् ॥६-७५-५॥
yattvaṁ durodaro bhūtvā pāṇḍavānavamanyase। tasya pāpasya gāndhāre paśya vyasanamāgatam ॥6-75-5॥
[यत् (yat) - that; त्वं (tvaṁ) - you; दुरोदरो (durodaraḥ) - wicked-bellied; भूत्वा (bhūtvā) - having become; पाण्डवान् (pāṇḍavān) - the Pandavas; अवमन्यसे (avamanyase) - you disrespect; तस्य (tasya) - of that; पापस्य (pāpasya) - sin; गान्धारे (gāndhāre) - in Gandhara; पश्य (paśya) - see; व्यसनम् (vyasanam) - calamity; आगतम् (āgatam) - has come;]
(That you, having become wicked-bellied, disrespect the Pandavas; see the calamity of that sin which has come in Gandhara.)

कर्णस्य मतमाज्ञाय सौबलस्य च यत्पुरा। अचिन्त्य पाण्डवान्कामाद्यथेष्टं कृतवानसि ॥६-७५-६॥
karṇasya matam ājñāya saubalasya ca yat purā। acintya pāṇḍavān kāmād yatheṣṭaṃ kṛtavān asi ॥6-75-6॥
[कर्णस्य (karṇasya) - of Karna; मतम् (matam) - opinion; आज्ञाय (ājñāya) - having known; सौबलस्य (saubalasya) - of Saubala; च (ca) - and; यत् (yat) - which; पुरा (purā) - formerly; अचिन्त्य (acintya) - disregarding; पाण्डवान् (pāṇḍavān) - the Pandavas; कामात् (kāmāt) - out of desire; यथेष्टम् (yatheṣṭam) - as you wished; कृतवानसि (kṛtavān asi) - you have done;]
(Having known the opinion of Karna and Saubala, which formerly, disregarding the Pandavas out of desire, you have done as you wished.)

याचमानं च यन्मोहाद्दाशार्हमवमन्यसे। उलूकस्य समादेशं यद्ददासि च हृष्टवत् ॥६-७५-७॥
yācamānaṃ ca yanmohāddāśārhamavamanyase। ulūkasya samādeśaṃ yaddadāsi ca hṛṣṭavat ॥6-75-7॥

(Begging and out of delusion, you disrespect Dāśārha. The message of Ulūka, which you give joyfully.)
In your delusion, you disrespect Dāśārha who is begging. You joyfully deliver the message of Ulūka.
अद्य त्वा निहनिष्यामि सानुबन्धं सबान्धवम्। समीकरिष्ये तत्पापं यत्पुरा कृतवानसि ॥६-७५-८॥
adya tvā nihaniṣyāmi sānubandhaṃ sabāndhavam। samīkariṣye tatpāpaṃ yatpurā kṛtavānasi ॥6-75-8॥

एवमुक्त्वा धनुर्घोरं विकृष्योद्भ्राम्य चासकृत्। समादाय शरान्घोरान्महाशनिसमप्रभान् ॥६-७५-९॥
evamuktvā dhanurghoraṃ vikṛṣyodbhrāmya cāsakṛt। samādāya śarānghorānmahāśanisamaprabhān ॥6-75-9॥
[एवम् (evam) - thus; उक्त्वा (uktvā) - having spoken; धनुः (dhanuḥ) - bow; घोरं (ghoraṃ) - terrible; विकृष्य (vikṛṣya) - having drawn; उद्भ्राम्य (udbhrāmya) - whirling; च (ca) - and; असकृत् (asakṛt) - repeatedly; समादाय (samādāya) - having taken; शरान् (śarān) - arrows; घोरान् (ghorān) - terrible; महाशनि (mahāśani) - great thunderbolt; समप्रभान् (samaprabhān) - equally radiant;]
(Thus, having spoken, having drawn the terrible bow, and whirling it repeatedly, having taken the terrible arrows, equally radiant as a great thunderbolt.)

षड्विंशत्तरसा क्रुद्धो मुमोचाशु सुयोधने। ज्वलिताग्निशिखाकारान्वज्रकल्पानजिह्मगान् ॥६-७५-१०॥
ṣaḍviṃśattarasā kruddho mumocāśu suyodhane। jvalitāgniśikhākārānvajrakalpānajihmagān ॥6-75-10॥
[षड्विंशत्तरसा (ṣaḍviṃśattarasā) - having twenty-six essences; क्रुद्धः (kruddhaḥ) - angry; मुमोच (mumoca) - released; आशु (āśu) - quickly; सुयोधने (suyodhane) - at Suyodhana; ज्वलित (jvalita) - blazing; अग्नि (agni) - fire; शिखा (śikhā) - flame; आकारान् (ākārān) - shaped like; वज्रकल्पान् (vajrakalpān) - like thunderbolts; अजिह्मगान् (ajihmagān) - straight-moving;]
(Having twenty-six essences, angry, he quickly released at Suyodhana, blazing, flame-shaped, like thunderbolts, straight-moving.)
In his anger, possessing twenty-six essences, he swiftly unleashed upon Suyodhana weapons that blazed like flames, resembling thunderbolts, and moved straight.
ततोऽस्य कार्मुकं द्वाभ्यां सूतं द्वाभ्यां च विव्यधे। चतुर्भिरश्वाञ्जवनाननयद्यमसादनम् ॥६-७५-११॥
tato'sya kārmukaṃ dvābhyāṃ sūtaṃ dvābhyāṃ ca vivyadhe। caturbhiraśvāñjavanānanayadyamasādanam ॥6-75-11॥

(Then he pierced his bow with two (arrows), the charioteer with two, and brought the four swift horses to the abode of Yama.)

द्वाभ्यां च सुविकृष्टाभ्यां शराभ्यामरिमर्दनः। छत्रं चिच्छेद समरे राज्ञस्तस्य रथोत्तमात् ॥६-७५-१२॥
dvābhyāṃ ca suvikṛṣṭābhyāṃ śarābhyāmarimardanaḥ। chatraṃ ciccheda samare rājñastasya rathottamāt ॥6-75-12॥

(With two well-drawn arrows, the enemy crusher cut the king's umbrella from his best chariot in battle.)

त्रिभिश्च तस्य चिच्छेद ज्वलन्तं ध्वजमुत्तमम्। छित्त्वा तं च ननादोच्चैस्तव पुत्रस्य पश्यतः ॥६-७५-१३॥
tribhiśca tasya ciccheda jvalantaṃ dhvajamuttamam। chittvā taṃ ca nanādoccāistava putrasya paśyataḥ ॥6-75-13॥

रथाच्च स ध्वजः श्रीमान्नानारत्नविभूषितः। पपात सहसा भूमिं विद्युज्जलधरादिव ॥६-७५-१४॥
rathācca sa dhvajaḥ śrīmānnānāratnavibhūṣitaḥ। papāta sahasā bhūmiṁ vidyujjaladharādiva ॥6-75-14॥

स गाढविद्धो व्यथितो भीमसेनेन संयुगे। निषसाद रथोपस्थे राजा दुर्योधनस्तदा ॥६-७५-१९॥
