तवात्मजांस्तु पतितान्दृष्ट्वा कर्णः प्रतापवान्। क्रोधेन महताविष्टो निर्विण्णोऽभूत्स जीवितात् ॥७-१११-१॥
tavātmajāṃstu patitāndṛṣṭvā karṇaḥ pratāpavān। krodhena mahatāviṣṭo nirviṇṇo'bhūtsa jīvitāt ॥7-111-1॥
[तव (tava) - your; आत्मजान् (ātmajān) - sons; तु (tu) - but; पतितान् (patitān) - fallen; दृष्ट्वा (dṛṣṭvā) - having seen; कर्णः (karṇaḥ) - Karṇa; प्रतापवान् (pratāpavān) - the mighty; क्रोधेन (krodhena) - with anger; महताविष्टः (mahatāviṣṭaḥ) - overwhelmed by great; निर्विण्णः (nirviṇṇaḥ) - disgusted; अभूत् (abhūt) - became; सः (saḥ) - he; जीवितात् (jīvitāt) - with life;]
(Seeing your sons fallen, the mighty Karṇa, overwhelmed by great anger, became disgusted with life.)
Upon witnessing the fall of your sons, the mighty Karṇa was filled with intense anger and became disillusioned with life.
आगस्कृतमिवात्मानं मेने चाधिरथिस्तदा। भीमसेनं ततः क्रुद्धः समाद्रवत सम्भ्रमात् ॥७-१११-२॥
āgaskṛtamivātmānaṃ mene cādhirathistadā। bhīmasenaṃ tataḥ kruddhaḥ samādravata sambhramāt ॥7-111-2॥

स भीमं पञ्चभिर्विद्ध्वा राधेयः प्रहसन्निव। पुनर्विव्याध सप्तत्या स्वर्णपुङ्खैः शिलाशितैः ॥७-१११-३॥

(He, Radheya, having pierced Bhima with five (arrows), as if smiling, again pierced (him) with seventy golden-shafted, stone-sharpened (arrows).)
Radheya, with a smile, first struck Bhima with five arrows and then again with seventy arrows that had golden shafts and were sharpened on stone.
अवहासं तु तं पार्थो नामृष्यत वृकोदरः। ततो विव्याध राधेयं शतेन नतपर्वणाम् ॥७-१११-४॥
avahāsaṃ tu taṃ pārtho nāmṛṣyata vṛkodaraḥ। tato vivyādha rādheyaṃ śatena nataparvaṇām ॥7-111-4॥
[अवहासम् (avahāsam) - mockery; तु (tu) - but; तम् (tam) - that; पार्थः (pārthaḥ) - Arjuna; न (na) - not; अमृष्यत (amṛṣyata) - tolerated; वृकोदरः (vṛkodaraḥ) - Bhima; ततः (tataḥ) - then; विव्याध (vivyādha) - pierced; राधेयम् (rādheyam) - Karna; शतेन (śatena) - with a hundred; नतपर्वणाम् (nataparvaṇām) - of bent joints;]
(But Arjuna did not tolerate that mockery; then Bhima pierced Karna with a hundred (arrows) of bent joints.)
Arjuna could not endure the mockery, and then Bhima struck Karna with a hundred arrows that had bent joints.
पुनश्च विशिखैस्तीक्ष्णैर्विद्ध्वा पञ्चभिराशुगैः। धनुश्चिच्छेद भल्लेन सूतपुत्रस्य मारिष ॥७-१११-५॥
punaśca viśikhaistīkṣṇairviddhvā pañcabhirāśugaiḥ। dhanuściccheda bhallena sūtaputrasya māriṣa ॥7-111-5॥

अथान्यद्धनुरादाय कर्णो भारत दुर्मनाः। इषुभिश्छादयामास भीमसेनं समन्ततः ॥७-१११-६॥
athānyaddhanurādāya karṇo bhārata durmanāḥ। iṣubhiśchādayāmāsa bhīmasenaṃ samantataḥ ॥7-111-6॥

तस्य भीमो हयान्हत्वा विनिहत्य च सारथिम्। प्रजहास महाहासं कृते प्रतिकृतं पुनः ॥७-१११-७॥

इषुभिः कार्मुकं चास्य चकर्त पुरुषर्षभः। तत्पपात महाराज स्वर्णपृष्ठं महास्वनम् ॥७-१११-८॥

अवारोहद्रथात्तस्मादथ कर्णो महारथः। गदां गृहीत्वा समरे भीमसेनाय चाक्षिपत् ॥७-१११-९॥

ततो बाणसहस्राणि प्रेषयामास पाण्डवः। सूतपुत्रवधाकाङ्क्षी त्वरमाणः पराक्रमी ॥७-१११-११॥
tato bāṇasahasrāṇi preṣayāmāsa pāṇḍavaḥ। sūtaputravadhākāṅkṣī tvaramāṇaḥ parākramī ॥7-111-11॥

अथैनं पञ्चविंशत्या क्षुद्रकाणां समार्पयत्। पश्यतां सर्वभूतानां तदद्भुतमिवाभवत् ॥७-१११-१३॥
