Pancharatra and Core: On Ghatotkacha's death, Vasudeva, filled with immense joy, embraced Arjuna.

haiḍimbaṁ nihataṁ dṛṣṭvā vikīrṇamiva parvatam। pāṇḍavā dīnamanasaḥ sarve bāṣpākulekṣaṇāḥ ॥7-155-1॥
[हैडिम्बं (haiḍimbam) - Haiḍimba; निहतं (nihatam) - slain; दृष्ट्वा (dṛṣṭvā) - having seen; विकीर्णमिव (vikīrṇamiva) - scattered like; पर्वतम् (parvatam) - a mountain; पाण्डवाः (pāṇḍavāḥ) - the Pāṇḍavas; दीनमनसः (dīnamanasaḥ) - with sorrowful minds; सर्वे (sarve) - all; बाष्पाकुलेक्षणाः (bāṣpākulekṣaṇāḥ) - with tear-filled eyes;]
(Having seen Haiḍimba slain and scattered like a mountain, all the Pāṇḍavas with sorrowful minds and tear-filled eyes.)
Upon witnessing the slain Haiḍimba, who appeared like a scattered mountain, all the Pāṇḍavas were filled with sorrow and their eyes welled up with tears.
वासुदेवस्तु हर्षेण महताभिपरिप्लुतः। ननाद सिंहवन्नादं व्यथयन्निव भारत ॥ विनद्य च महानादं पर्यष्वजत फल्गुनम् ॥७-१५५-२॥

स विनद्य महानादमभीशून्संनियम्य च। ननर्त हर्षसंवीतो वातोद्धूत इव द्रुमः ॥७-१५५-३॥

अतिहर्षोऽयमस्थाने तवाद्य मधुसूदन। शोकस्थाने परे प्राप्ते हैडिम्बस्य वधेन वै ॥७-१५५-६॥

विमुखानि च सैन्यानि हतं दृष्ट्वा घटोत्कचम्। वयं च भृशमाविग्ना हैडिम्बस्य निपातनात् ॥७-१५५-७॥
vimukhāni ca sainyāni hataṃ dṛṣṭvā ghaṭotkacam। vayaṃ ca bhṛśamāvignā haiḍimbasya nipātanāt ॥7-155-7॥

शक्तिं घटोत्कचेनेमां व्यंसयित्वा महाद्युते। कर्णं निहतमेवाजौ विद्धि सद्यो धनञ्जय ॥७-१५५-१२॥
śaktiṃ ghaṭotkacenemāṃ vyaṃsayitvā mahādyute। karṇaṃ nihatamevājau viddhi sadyo dhanañjaya ॥7-155-12॥

yadi hi syātsakavacastathaiva ca sakuṇḍalaḥ। sāmarānapi lokāṃstrīnekaḥ karṇo jayedbalī ॥7-155-15॥
