सर्व एव महात्मानः पूर्वे मम पितामहाः। द्रौपदी धर्मपत्नी च कथं तानन्ववर्तत ॥१-२००-२॥

dhṛtarāṣṭrābhyanujñātāḥ kṛṣṇayā saha pāṇḍavāḥ। remire puruṣavyāghrāḥ prāptarājyāḥ parantapāḥ ॥1-200-5॥

Having received Dhṛtarāṣṭra's sanction, the Pāṇḍavas, together with Kṛṣṇā, rejoiced as tigers among men, having attained their kingdom and being the subduers of their enemies.
प्राप्य राज्यं महातेजाः सत्यसन्धो युधिष्ठिरः। पालयामास धर्मेण पृथिवीं भ्रातृभिः सह ॥१-२००-६॥

(Having obtained the kingdom, the great-energied, truthful Yudhishthira protected the earth with righteousness together with his brothers.)
After attaining the kingdom, the mighty and truthful Yudhishthira ruled the earth righteously together with his brothers.
जितारयो महाप्राज्ञाः सत्यधर्मपरायणाः। मुदं परमिकां प्राप्तास्तत्रोषुः पाण्डुनन्दनाः ॥१-२००-७॥
jitārayo mahāprājñāḥ satyadharmaparāyaṇāḥ। mudaṃ paramikāṃ prāptāstatroṣuḥ pāṇḍunandanāḥ ॥1-200-7॥

(Those who have conquered enemies, greatly wise, devoted to truth and righteousness, having attained supreme joy, there dwelt, the descendants of Pandu.)
The descendants of Pandu, who had conquered their enemies, were greatly wise and devoted to truth and righteousness. Having attained supreme joy, they dwelt there.
कुर्वाणाः पौरकार्याणि सर्वाणि पुरुषर्षभाः। आसां चक्रुर्महार्हेषु पार्थिवेष्वासनेषु च ॥१-२००-८॥
kurvāṇāḥ paurakāryāṇi sarvāṇi puruṣarṣabhāḥ। āsāṃ cakrumahārheṣu pārthiveṣvāsaneṣu ca ॥1-200-8॥

अथ तेषूपविष्टेषु सर्वेष्वेव महात्मसु। नारदस्त्वथ देवर्षिराजगाम यदृच्छया ॥ आसनं रुचिरं तस्मै प्रददौ स्वं युधिष्ठिरः ॥१-२००-९॥

(Then, among all the great-souled ones who were seated, Nārada, the divine sage, arrived by chance. Yudhiṣṭhira gave his own beautiful seat to him.)
As all the great-souled ones were seated, the divine sage Nārada happened to arrive. Yudhiṣṭhira offered his own beautiful seat to Nārada.
देवर्षेरुपविष्टस्य स्वयमर्घ्यं यथाविधि। प्रादाद्युधिष्ठिरो धीमान्राज्यं चास्मै न्यवेदयत् ॥१-२००-१०॥
devarṣer upaviṣṭasya svayam arghyaṃ yathāvidhi। prādād yudhiṣṭhiro dhīmān rājyaṃ ca asmai nyavedayat ॥1-200-10॥

(Yudhishthira, the wise, himself gave the offering of hospitality to the divine sage who was seated, according to the rule, and also offered the kingdom to him.)
Yudhishthira, wise and discerning, personally presented the proper offering of hospitality to the seated divine sage and also offered him the kingdom.
प्रतिगृह्य तु तां पूजामृषिः प्रीतमनाभवत्। आशीर्भिर्वर्धयित्वा तु तमुवाचास्यतामिति ॥१-२००-११॥
pratigṛhya tu tāṃ pūjām ṛṣiḥ prītamanā abhavat। āśīrbhir vardhayitvā tu tam uvāca āsyatām iti ॥1-200-11॥

निषसादाभ्यनुज्ञातस्ततो राजा युधिष्ठिरः। प्रेषयामास कृष्णायै भगवन्तमुपस्थितम् ॥१-२००-१२॥
niṣasādābhyanujñātastato rājā yudhiṣṭhiraḥ। preṣayāmāsa kṛṣṇāyai bhagavantamupasthitam ॥1-200-12॥

श्रुत्वैव द्रौपदी चापि शुचिर्भूत्वा समाहिता। जगाम तत्र यत्रास्ते नारदः पाण्डवैः सह ॥१-२००-१३॥

As soon as she heard, Draupadī, after purifying herself and collecting her thoughts, went to the place where Nārada was sitting with the Pāṇḍavas.
तस्याभिवाद्य चरणौ देवर्षेर्धर्मचारिणी। कृताञ्जलिः सुसंवीता स्थिताथ द्रुपदात्मजा ॥१-२००-१४॥
tasyābhivādya caraṇau devarṣer dharmacāriṇī। kṛtāñjaliḥ susaṃvītā sthitātha drupadātmajā ॥1-200-14॥

(Having saluted his feet, the divine sage, she who follows dharma, with joined palms, well-clad, then stood, the daughter of Drupada.)
The daughter of Drupada, well-clad and with joined palms, respectfully saluted the feet of the divine sage and then stood before him, following the path of dharma.
तस्याश्चापि स धर्मात्मा सत्यवागृषिसत्तमः। आशिषो विविधाः प्रोच्य राजपुत्र्यास्तु नारदः ॥ गम्यतामिति होवाच भगवांस्तामनिन्दिताम् ॥१-२००-१५॥
tasyāś cāpi sa dharmātmā satyavāg ṛṣisattamaḥ। āśiṣo vividhāḥ procya rājaputryās tu nāradaḥ॥ gamyatām iti hovāca bhagavāṃs tām aninditām॥ 1-200-15॥

(Of her also, he, the righteous-souled, truth-speaking, best among sages, having spoken various blessings to the princess, Nārada said thus: 'Let her go,' to the venerable, blameless one.)
Nārada, the righteous and truthful sage, after bestowing various blessings upon the princess, said to the venerable, blameless lady, 'Let her go.'
गतायामथ कृष्णायां युधिष्ठिरपुरोगमान्। विविक्ते पाण्डवान्सर्वानुवाच भगवानृषिः ॥१-२००-१६॥
gatāyām atha kṛṣṇāyām yudhiṣṭhira-purogamān। vivikte pāṇḍavān sarvān uvāca bhagavān ṛṣiḥ ॥1-200-16॥

पाञ्चाली भवतामेका धर्मपत्नी यशस्विनी। यथा वो नात्र भेदः स्यात्तथा नीतिर्विधीयताम् ॥१-२००-१७॥
pāñcālī bhavatāmekā dharmapatnī yaśasvinī। yathā vo nātra bhedaḥ syāttathā nītirvidhīyatām ॥1-200-17॥
