Drupada said:
Thus, O mighty-armed one, there is no doubt that Duryodhana will not willingly give up the kingdom.
Dhritarashtra, who is fond of his son, will also follow him. Bhishma and Drona, due to their compassion and lack of wisdom, along with Radheya (Karna) and Saubala (Shakuni), will do the same.
However, Baladeva's statement does not align with my understanding. This is indeed the foremost duty of a person who desires good governance.
However, Dhritarashtra's son should never be addressed with gentle words, as he cannot be won over by gentleness; he is deemed evil-minded by me.
One should be gentle with a donkey, harsh with cows; speak softly to Duryodhana, and address a wicked mind appropriately.
The sinner perceives the gentle speaker as weak. A fool should realize that the goal is achieved through gentleness.
We will indeed do this, and make efforts here. Let us send word to our friends to mobilize our forces.
Let the swift messengers of Śalya, Dhṛṣṭaketu, Jayatsena, Abhibhu, and all the Kekayas proceed quickly.
However, Duryodhana will surely send his message everywhere. Those who have previously agreed, the virtuous ones, also follow the previous instigator.
O kings, act swiftly in urging beforehand, for indeed, there is a great task to be undertaken, and this is my thought.
Send Śalya's followers and the accompanying kings swiftly to King Bhagadatta, who resides by the eastern sea.
To the one with immense energy, fierce and wise, descendant of Hridika, Ahuka, the wrestler, and the shining lord.
Bring Bṛhant, Senābindu, the king, Pāpajit, Prativindhya, Citravarmā, and Suvāstuka.

The kings of the Śakas, Pahlavas, and Daradas, along with the Kambojas, Ṛṣikas, and the Western Anupakas, are mentioned here.
Jayatsena, Kāśya, and the kings of Pañcanada, along with Krāthaputra and Durdharṣa, were the rulers from the mountainous regions.
Janaki, Susharma, Maniman, Pautimatsyaka, the ruler of Pamsurashtra, and Dhrishtaketu, the valiant one, were present.
The person from the region of Oḍra, along with the staff-holder, Bṛhatsena, who is powerful and undefeated, Niṣāda, Śreṇimān, and Vasumān, were all present.

Brihadbala, who is mighty, and Bahu, the conqueror of enemy cities, along with King Samudrasena, who is powerful with his son.
Adari, Nadija, Karnaveshta, Parthiva, Samartha, Suveera, Marjara, and Kanyaka were all present.

The great hero Mahavira, Kadru, the tumultuous multitude, Kratha, Nila, and the powerful king with heroic duty.

Invincible Dantavaktra, Rukmi, Janamejaya, Āṣāḍha, Vāyuvega, and Pūrvapālī were all kings.

The prince, who is the lord of the Kalingas and is known for his arrogance in battle, should be sent quickly; this indeed pleases me.
This Brahmin, who is my royal priest, should be sent quickly to King Dhritarashtra to deliver this message.
Duryodhana should be addressed appropriately, just as the son of Śantanu is recognized as king, Dhṛtarāṣṭra should be addressed properly, and Droṇa is acknowledged as the best among the wise.
