Pancharatra: King Yudhishthira praises Lord Krishna with the Satvatha Samhita (Pancharatra Agama) tenets in the assembly.
vaiśampāyana uvāca॥
Vaiśampāyana said:
abhiṣikto mahāprājño rājyaṃ prāpya yudhiṣṭhiraḥ। dāśārhaṃ puṇḍarīkākṣam uvāca prāñjaliḥ śuciḥ॥12-43-1॥
Having been consecrated and having obtained the kingdom, the greatly wise Yudhishthira, pure and with joined palms, spoke to the lotus-eyed descendant of Dasharha.
tava kṛṣṇa prasādena nayena ca balena ca। buddhyā ca yaduśārdūla tathā vikramaṇena ca॥12-43-2॥
O Kṛṣṇa, by your favour, policy, strength, intelligence, and prowess, O tiger among the Yadus, (all this has been accomplished).
punaḥ prāptam idaṃ rājyaṃ pitṛpaitāmahaṃ mayā। namas te puṇḍarīkākṣa punaḥ punar ariṃdama ॥12-43-3॥
Once again, I have regained this ancestral kingdom of my forefathers. O lotus-eyed one, I bow to you repeatedly, O subduer of enemies.
tvām ekam āhuḥ puruṣam tvām āhuḥ sātvatāṃ patim। nāmabhiḥ tvām bahuvidhaiḥ stuvanti paramarṣayaḥ ॥12-43-4॥
They call you the one person, they call you the lord of the Sātvatas; the supreme sages praise you with many kinds of names.
viśvakarmannamaste'stu viśvātmanviśvasambhava। viṣṇo jiṣṇo hare kṛṣṇa vaikuṇṭha puruṣottama ॥12-43-5॥
Salutations to you, O universal creator, soul and origin of the universe; O Viṣṇu, O victorious one, O remover of sins, O Kṛṣṇa, O Vaikuṇṭha, O supreme person.
adityāḥ saptarātraṃ tu purāṇe garbhatāṃ gataḥ। pṛśnigarbhas tvam evaikas triyugaṃ tvāṃ vadanty api ॥12-43-6॥
It is said in the Purāṇa that you, born of Aditi, remained in the womb for seven nights. You are also known as Pṛśnigarbha, and they say you are the same one through three yugas.
śuciśravā hṛṣīkeśo ghṛtārcir haṃsa ucyase। tricakṣuḥ śambhur ekas tvaṃ vibhur dāmodaro'pi ca ॥12-43-7॥
You are called by names such as Śuciśravā (of pure fame), Hṛṣīkeśa (Lord of the senses), Ghṛtārci (whose radiance is like clarified butter), Haṃsa (swan); you are the three-eyed, the auspicious one, the one, the all-pervading, Dāmodara, and so on.
varāho'gnir bṛhadbhānur vṛṣaṇas tārkṣyalakṣaṇaḥ। anīkasāhaḥ puruṣaḥ śipiviṣṭa urukramaḥ ॥12-43-8॥
He is the Boar, the Fire, of great radiance, virile, marked by Tārkṣya, conqueror of armies, the Supreme Person, the Pervader, and of great stride.
vāciṣṭha ugraḥ senānīḥ satyo vājasanirguhaḥ। acyutaścyāvano'rīṇāṃ saṅkṛtirvikṛtirvṛṣaḥ ॥12-43-9॥
He is most excellent in speech, fierce, the leader of armies, truthful, giver of strength, the hidden one, unfailing, the mover of enemies, assembler, transformer, and the bull.
kṛtavartmā tvamevādrirvṛṣagarbho vṛṣākapiḥ। sindhukṣidūrmistrikakuttridhāmā trivṛdacyutaḥ ॥12-43-10॥
You are the one whose path is established, the mountain, the one with the bull as the womb, the bull-monkey, the piercer of the ocean, the wave, the one with three peaks, the one with three abodes, the threefold, the infallible.
samrāḍ-virāṭ-svarāṭ-caiva surarāḍ-dharmado bhavaḥ। vibhuḥ bhūḥ abhibhūḥ kṛṣṇaḥ kṛṣṇavartmā tvam eva ca॥12-43-11॥
You are the universal emperor, the mighty and self-ruler, the lord of the gods and the giver of dharma; you are all-pervading, the very existence, the overcomer, Kṛṣṇa, the one whose path is Kṛṣṇa, you indeed and also.
sviṣṭakṛdbhiṣagāvartaḥ kapilastvaṃ ca vāmanaḥ| yajño dhruvaḥ pataṅgaśca jayatsenastvamucyase ||12-43-12||
You are called the maker of well-offered oblations, the healer, the revolving one, Kapila, Vāmana, the sacrifice, Dhruva, Pataṅga, and Jayasena.
śikhaṇḍī nahuṣo babhrur divaspṛk tvaṃ punarvasuḥ। subabhrur ukṣo rukmas tvaṃ suṣeṇo dundubhis tathā॥12-43-13॥
You are called by many names: Śikhaṇḍī, Nahusha, Babhrū, Divaspṛk, Punarvasu, Subabhrū, Ukṣa, Rukma, Suṣeṇa, Dundubhi, and so on.
gabhastinemiḥ śrīpadmaṃ puṣkaraṃ puṣpadhāraṇaḥ। ṛbhurvibhuḥ sarvasūkṣmastvaṃ sāvitraṃ ca paṭhyase ॥12-43-14॥
You are called 'Gabhastinemi', the one whose spokes are rays, the auspicious lotus, the lotus, the bearer of flowers, the skillful one, the all-pervading, the subtlest of all, and 'Sāvitra'.
ambhonidhis tvaṃ brahmā tvaṃ pavitraṃ dhāma dhanva ca। hiraṇyagarbhaṃ tvām āhuḥ svadhā svāhā ca keśava ॥12-43-15॥
You are the ocean, you are Brahmā, you are the purifier, the abode, and the desert; they call you Hiraṇyagarbha, Svadhā, Svāhā, and Keśava.
yonistvamasya pralayaśca kṛṣṇa; tvamevedaṃ sṛjasi viśvamagre। viśvaṃ cedaṃ tvadvaśe viśvayone; namo'stu te śārṅgacakrāsipāṇe ॥12-43-16॥
You are the origin and dissolution of this, O Kṛṣṇa; you alone create this universe in the beginning. This universe is under your control, O origin of the universe; salutations to you, O wielder of Śārṅga, discus, and sword.
evaṃ stuto dharmarājena kṛṣṇaḥ; sabhāmadhye prītimān puṣkarākṣaḥ. tam abhyanandad bhārataṃ puṣkalābhir vāgbhir jyeṣṭhaṃ pāṇḍavaṃ yādavāgryaḥ ॥12-43-17॥
Thus, when Dharmarāja praised him, Kṛṣṇa, the lotus-eyed and joyful, in the midst of the assembly, greeted Bhārata, the eldest Pāṇḍava, with abundant words, he being the foremost among the Yādavas.
