Pancharatra: Vṛkodara got Duryodhana's house; Arjuna got Duḥśāsana's, Nakula got Durmarṣaṇa's, Sahadeva got Durmukha's. Kṛṣṇa, accompanied by Sātyaki, entered Arjuna's residence.
Vaiśampāyana said:
Then the king dismissed all the subjects, and having received permission, they entered their respective houses.
Then King Yudhishthira, after consoling Bhima of mighty strength, wisely addressed Arjuna and the twins, Nakula and Sahadeva.
In the great battle, your bodies are cut by various weapons of the enemies; you become exhausted and are greatly tormented by grief and anger.
O best among men, you have experienced painful dwellings in the forest for my sake, just as wicked men would have.
Let this victory be enjoyed as is comfortable and pleasing. After resting and gaining knowledge, I shall meet with you again tomorrow.
Then Duryodhana's mansion, adorned with palatial buildings, filled with many gems, and bustling with maidservants and servants.
Vṛkodara (Bhīma), having received Mandara (the mountain) sanctioned by Dhṛtarāṣṭra and given by his brother, accepted it with his mighty arms, just as Maghavan (Indra) did.
Just as Duryodhana's house was, so too was Duḥśāsana's, joined with a row of palaces and adorned with golden arches.
By the king's command, the mighty-armed Arjuna received a place fully supplied with many male and female servants, and abundant wealth and grain.
The mansion of Durmarṣaṇa, surpassing even Duḥśāsana's residence, was like Kubera's palace, decorated with jewels and gold.
Pleased, the great king Yudhishthira, the king of dharma, gave to Nakula, who was most worthy and emaciated, in the great forest.
The splendid, gold-adorned mansion of Durmukha was filled with beds crowded by women whose eyes resembled lotus petals.
He gave it to Sahadeva, who was always pleasing in his actions. Having received it, Sahadeva rejoiced like Kubera on Mount Kailāsa.
Yuyutsu, Vidura, Sanjaya, the illustrious Sudharma, and Dhaumya each went to their respective quarters.
Kṛṣṇa, accompanied by Sātyaki, entered Arjuna's residence; the mighty hero entered like a tiger entering a mountain cave.
There, after enjoying food and drink and resting happily, they awoke refreshed and attended upon King Yudhishthira.
